Diwali 2021 | Luton
Diwali is one of those events that I know it’s going to be good. Check out my photos from 2019 here when it was pouring down with rain and it was still an amazing street party! People where dancing with their umbrellas and nobody cared it was raining. 2021 was no different, apart from the rain, luckily weather was great! The event attracted a lot of people .
Diwali is a festival of lights and one of the major festivals celebrated by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs. Luton Diwali was organised by a friend of mine Furhaad Ahmed who worked very hard to make this event happen. It was one of the first events I photographed after all off the Covid lockdowns and man, it was good to be out! A full day of fun performances, beautiful food, amazing community and a great bunch of people who worked very hard to bring this event together.
